Our June Board Meeting was on 2011-06-13. The minutes are published here, "below the fold". The next board meeting is scheduled for 2011-07-11.

At the June Free Geek board meeting it was brought to the boards attention that the electric outlets are out on the right side of the big room. It has been also reported that the landlord has been notified.

As of June 25, there has been a donation of about $435.00 from beer sales at the block party. The Block St Block party was a huge success and will be repeated next year. Free Geek was opened during the Block Street Block party and has been estimated that about 100 people toured Free Geek. Other people were given a short informative
verbal description of Free Geek and what we do as they walked by.

The ability to become a full fledged member of Free Geek was discussed. It was decided that members can receive a personal space to plug in their own computer including a port that can forward their information on their own website. Paying membership is $20 quarterly. Non paying membership consists of a person who donates ten volunteer hours to Free Geek per month.

Permission was granted to Valerie and Bob to post pictures on Craig's List with information about the computers along with the web site address to sell some of the computers in the Thrift Store.
