Three ways to be eligible for a Geek Gift

  1. GEEK GIFTS for individuals

    through FGAR eligible organizations:

If you have a client under your supervision through a certified organization such as a social work office, a therapist office, or a rehabilitation organization within the local area; you can make a formal request for your client.
Requests must be written on your office or organization’s formal logo letterhead and sent as an email attachment to info@freegeekarkansas.org. Briefly describe your client who is in need. State why they need a computer and how this person’s life will be improved. Please include both your and the recipient’s contact information.

2. GEEK GIFTS for Nonprofit Organizations:

Nonprofit organizations that operate in and serve the Fayetteville, Arkansas area can request ONE (no more than two) donated rebuilt computer or related electronic equipment.

Requests must be written on your organization’s formal logo letterhead and sent as an email attachment to info@freegeekarkansas.org. Briefly describe your need. State why and how your organization will be improved. Please include both your organization contact info and the recipient’s contact information.

3. GEEK GIFT as art supplies for Nonprofit Art Organizations:

Local nonprofit art organizations are encouraged to request art supplies in the form of computer and electronic parts that can be used to make jewelry, sculptures, and creatively repurposed electronics.

Please send a formal request on your organization’s official letterhead as an email attachment to info@freegeekarkansas.org. Describe how your non-profit art organization plans to use these supplies to support community creativity and sustainability while keeping e-waste out of landfills.

Provide portfolio images Free Geek can use to show component creations upon completion.
